CBS Films, according to Variety, has recently secured the rights to a Deus Ex movie based on Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The studio will be working closely with Eidos Interactive to bring the game to the big screen. Square Enix Europe CEO Phil Rogers stated: "As the millions of fans who have played the Deus Ex games for more than a decade will tell you, these games catapult you into a universe that is stimulating, engaging and relevant." Roy Lee (Departed) and Adrian Askarieh are currently tied to the film as producers.

As I see it, the world of Deus Ex is rich and fresh enough to make for a thrilling film series. Is anyone else excited by the prospect of Deus Ex in theaters?
