While playing through the original Deus Ex for the first time just a few weeks ago, I noticed the franchise got a massive sale, and I decided to pick up Deus Ex Invisible War from that sale as well. Hell, it was cheaper than a bottle of Pepsi anyways so.
Anyways, apparently the game has a lot of issues. The ones I keep hearing is, it keeps crashing, and it's easy to get lost. Despite this, I wanted to try to get through it. I mean, 60% positive reviews and 80% from metacritic has to mean it has SOME potential, right? And at least it's not nearly as long as the other games, so if it's bad, at least it won't sting for too long.
My main question is, is there anything I can do to make the game more enjoyable to play through? Any fixes for these 'crashes' I hear about, or some guides I can follow while playing, or maybe using cheats even.
Also Deus Ex Revision with kenties dx10 renders (mods for the original 16 y.o game out on steam) shits all over IW well every DX shits all over IW but you do kinda have to play it if you want the end of the story which is a shame ION Storm / Edios killed there company and 2 great game franchises with a shitty game engine that was made for consoles when both franchises claimed there fame on the PC (R.I.P ION Storm / Edios, R.I.P Thief and may god save Deus Ex) (which it did)
