Decrypted data contained in a dead man's neural hub pointed Jensen to an abandoned factory complex in Highland Park. Flown there by Faridah Malik, Jensen sets out to investigate the area. Little does he suspect what he will find...M9 - The Transmission is a mission in Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Talk to the friendly MCB Gang Leader who has some information. He also sells a special mod for the tranquilizer rifle or crossbow; ammo for the tranquilizer rifle, crossbow and shotgun; as well as grenades, EMP and gas. You can buy items from him now or later, after you finish the mission in Highland Park and before returning to Detroit.
If you kill the MCB Leader, you can loot the special upgrade at no cost, but you will have to deal with his bodyguards.
Other loot in the yard includes:
- An Automatic Unlocking Device in the shipping container behind the MCB gang members. (Only in the Director's Cut, Explosive Mission preorder pack or DLC.)
- A Cyberboost Proenergy Bar and various packs of ammo in the shipping containers.
- Revolver ammo on top of the scaffold, reachable from the half-broken fire escape.
Once ready, enter the compound and follow the path to a custscene, which starts the next mission.
