| "I once thought I could save the world... now look at it"
— Spoilers for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided follow!
Marcie Sedlák is a Task Force 29 agent who manages Praha Dovoz which, on the outside, looks like a forgettable shipping company, but is actually a front to hide the entrance into TF29's Prague Headquarters in 2029.
While Praha Dovoz is supposed to be just a front company, it is run like a real shop because, to Marcie, the best front is a real front. As such, when Adam Jensen first passes through, Marcie is assisting a customer who appears to be dissatisfied with the shipping services and she will be rather snappish with Jensen, saying she is busy helping another customer. This behavior is really a facade, as she needs to maintain the cover of the store and later apologizes to Jensen when there are no customers around.
While running the shop, she noticed subtle peculiarities in regards to their website being hacked and brings it up with Peter Chang, hoping he will get a field agent on the case. Jensen can talk to Chang further on this to start the side mission Samizdat.
- Even if one completes Samizdat, Marcie will continue to speak like it has not been finished yet.
- Marcie only stands in the actual shop the first time Jensen passes through. After that, she will sit on the small folding chair in the hallway.
- There is a bug where her placement shifts so instead of sitting in the chair, she will be in the room behind it, or stuck in the wall, all while looking like she is sitting.
