Run Silent is a legs slot augmentation in Deus Ex. It is a nanotechnological augmentation that decreases noise while walking or running.
This augmentation is installed from the augmentation canister that also includes Speed Enhancement. Since there is only one legs slot, Speed Enhancement and Run Silent are mutually exclusive options.

The necessary muscle movements for complete silence when walking or running are determined continuously with reactive kinematics equations produced by embedded nanocomputers.

- TECH FOUR: An agent is completely silent.

When activated, this augmentation reduces movement-related sound volume by 25% per tier.[1] This augmentation affects the sound from footsteps, jumping, landing, and swimming.[2]

- Warehouse District (2nd Mission) – In the basement control room (a room that includes a security terminal and a persona computer), in a locked safe under a desk with the computer.
- UNATCO Headquarters (4th Mission) – After returning from the airfield, the augmentation can be found on a cart inside the medical closet in the medical center of the UNATCO headquarters.
- VersaLife facility, Level 2 Lab (6th Mission) – Found in the Universal Constructor chamber in VersaLife's Level 2 Lab.
