The Drone is a type of aerial security bot manufactured by Steiner-Bisley GmbH. Drones appear in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
Background[]
Drones are prominently used by the police in Prague and Golem City. Other organizations that deploy drones include Tarvos Security Services, Pent House correctional officers, and Shadow Operatives.
Gameplay[]
Drones can be temporarily disabled by EMP ammunition and grenades, as well as the TESLA and Remote Hacking augmentations. Like other electronic targets, successive hits with EMP ammunition will increase the stun time of drones, up to a certain limit.
Armor piercing ammunition and the Nanoblade augmentation are particularly effective in destroying drones. A single Nanoblade strike is capable of taking down a drone.
