Datascan instantly reveals hidden firewalls and contents of datastores. Datascan can be used even if the hacking map is fogged, but firewalls and datastores behind the fob will not be seen.
This software can be used once. Using it will grey out its button. Datascan is most useful in node maps that have datastore nodes, which provide credits, additional hacking software, or experience.
Quitting a hacking session will erase the effects of this software. That is, the software would need to be used again in another hacking attempt on the same node.
