Alejandra "Alex" Vega is a former VTOL pilot for Belltower Associates, and is in affiliation with Janus and the Juggernaut Collective.

Biography

During 2027 in Panama City, Ben Saxon takes the advice of Doctor Camila Cardoso to talk to Alex Vega at the nightclub Nightshades. While there, he questions her about Belltower's involvement with their illegal distribution of Riezene to gangsters and their coverup of the drug's fatalities. Alex tells him to visit the WHO inspector she has been hired to transport and warn him his Riezene investigation has put his life in danger. Saxon finds Inspector Stuart St John at the Hotel Etana, but he is executed by the Tyrants. Saxon uses his infolink to inform Alex that the inspector was killed in a Black Ops hit. At Nightshades, Alex tells Ben that Belltower will frame her, so they hatch a plan to sabotage the tracking equipment at the XNG Data Center so they can escape from Panama on her VTOL without being followed. Saxon goes to the helipad at the secret Belltower base inside the XNG building and shuts down the tracking equipment there. Saxon then makes his way to the roof of the Hotel Etana, where he takes out the Spec Ops soldiers and Boxguard so Alex can land safely. She proceeds to blow up a Belltower gunship before landing to pick up Saxon, who tells her to take him to the Zaaphire Biotech building in Canberra, Australia.

Their crusade concludes in New York City, after which Saxon sets up a meeting between her and Janus. At a closed TasteMate restaurant in Montreal, she and Janus engage in a video chat, where he thanks her for flying Doctor Cardoso into Toronto before introducing her to Garvin Quinn, who will be her partner on their next mission. She then flies Quinn to Detroit to recruit Adam Jensen into the Juggernaut Collective. After they meet Jensen and Francis Pritchard, and ask Adam to join them, she ends up flying him onto and off of a train to stop a squad of Illuminati agents including Gunther Hermann from hijacking an Interpol-confiscated shipment of stolen Sarif Industry augmentations, after which he agrees to join the Juggernaut Collective and Task Force 29. Sometime after this, she travels to Prague, where she gets captured by and subsequently breaks down a police-run aug chop-shop there with the help of Ivan and Janus.

By 2029, she is Adam Jensen's primary contact with the Juggernaut Collective in Prague. Vega, along with the Collective, help to place Jensen on a division of Task Force 29, an Interpol unit they suspect to be an Illuminati front.^[5] Vega exchanges information between Janus, a mysterious member of the Juggernaut Collective, and Adam Jensen.^[1] She mainly contacts him through his Infolink, and by meeting with him by decloaking in secluded areas of the city, largely to provide tech and information to and from Janus.
